Engineering That Makes Your Life Easier.

Engineering Driven Design is a consulting engineering firm providing mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection design for commercial, industrial, public, healthcare, laboratory, and specialty facilities.

We focus on practical, coordinated building systems that support your project from concept through construction.

Who We Are

Engineering Driven Design was founded with a simple philosophy:

Engineering should reduce friction — not create it.

We approach every project with technical rigor, constructability awareness, and direct communication. Our role is not only to design systems, but to help architects, owners, and contractors move projects forward efficiently.

We serve clients across a range of building types, from small tenant fit-outs to large-scale infrastructure upgrades.

What Sets Us Apart

Direct Engineer Involvement
Clients work directly with licensed Professional Engineers throughout the design process.

Constructability-Focused Design
We develop coordinated documents that reflect real-world installation conditions.

Technical Depth Across Disciplines
Our experience spans HVAC systems, central plants, medium voltage power distribution, standby generation, specialty plumbing systems, fire protection, and mission-critical infrastructure.

Balanced Project Experience
We work on commercial offices, industrial facilities, laboratories, educational buildings, healthcare spaces, and municipal projects — giving us perspective across markets.

Leadership

Jeffrey N. Beeden, PE, CEM
