Franklin Board of Education | Administrative Offices Property Conversion
Franklin Township Board of Education was in need of new administration space. This space was ultimately provided by the township purchase of the Consolata Missionary property in Somerset, New Jersey. Three buildings, totaling more than 52,000 square feet, including old administrative, residential, and missionary halls, were altered to create the desired district facilities. The converted buildings were completely reconfigured to accommodate administrative offices and conference spaces, a new department of curriculum office building, a security guard booth, and other support spaces. From preconstruction planning, collaborating on the initial body of design, to offering support to contractors through the bidding and construction phases—Engineering Driven Design PC was involved in all aspects of the project.
