The Bound Brook School District engaged an architecture and consulting engineering team to design an expansion to accommodate student the increasing student growth and an enhanced special needs program. The building addition would house twelve additional classrooms, new toilet rooms, an elevator, storage spaces, and totaled approximately 17,000 square feet. Engineering Driven Design PC provided the mechanical system designs, providing new heating, ventilation, and air conditioning to the addition. The electrical designs included utility service upgrade, new lighting and controls systems for the addition, power distribution, and branch circuitry.

Plumbing designs for an increased water service, additional toilet rooms, and necessary domestic water, gas, and stormwater piping modifications were also provided by EDD. To assist throughout the final stages of the project, Engineering Driven Design PC provided bidding services, such as contractor change order review, as well as construction and closeout administration.
