Capitol Senior Housing Plainview

Chelsea Senior Living planned to convert an existing Marriott Residences facility in Oyster Bay, New York into an active seniors community and assisted living facility. Engineering Driven Design worked with the Architect in order to repurpose the existing common spaces and convert the studio living quarters into one and two-bedroom apartments. The changes and upgrades included, new lighting, HVAC relocation and/or replacement, electrical power and lighting design, plumbing system modifications and designs as needed and fire protection head relocation. In addition to providing engineering design services, Engineering Driven Design PC also provided support during the bidding and construction phases of the project.
