Merrill Lynch– Egg Harbor, New Jersey

Merrill Lynch in Egg Harbor, New Jersey had been experiencing temperature complaints for many years.  A complete renovation to the HVAC was planned in conjunction with renovations due to a renewed lease.  Engineering Driven Design worked with Nelson Architecture to develop three different schematic designs to review with Bank of America, the parent company of Merrill Lynch.  One approach was chosen and the design consisted of a variable air volume with electric reheat solution with a complete direct digital control system.  A Barrier Free toilet room was constructed as part of the renovations and a complete lighting and electrical power distribution system upgrade was designed.  The project was constructed in four phases in order to ensure Merrill Lynch maintained occupancy throughout construction.
